Clafera smiled and gave a loud war cry as Apalala did a steep dive. Right before she hit the sand, she quickly leveled out smoothly.
'Elaine and Eridor are going to be join us for some practice.' 'We'll need it to fight off Galbatorix if he attacks'
Apalala's ruby red scales with her golden streaks shone in the hot sunlight. Clafera turned her head and noticed a gray dragon flying towards them, "Here they come." She said.

Squinting Elaine glimpsed a glimmer of red on the sand. Eridor saw it too. That would be them, he said, swinging his head around to look at his rider.
Elaine smiled, right, let's land then. With a nod, Eridor clasped his wings to his body, entering a smooth, angled dive towards Clafera and Apalala. Once he was directly over them, he flared his large wings and drifted down towards the sand in tight circles. He landed with a thud. Elaine jumped off Eridor and raised a hand in greeting to Clafera. It was still odd to think of the other rider as a friend, and her instincts urged her to make a bow or something, but she witheld. "Hello Clafera, how do you fare?"

"Greetings Elaine. Fine and you?" Clafera took her legs out of the stirups on Apalala's light traveling saddle. She jumped to the ground and landed softly on the sand. Clafera walked over to Eridor and smiled up at Elaine.
"Ready to have a rematch?"

"Never better," Elaine answered with a smile. She loved the dessert, it was invigorating to her. "I've been practicing, so yes, I beleive I am ready." Taking out Mor'ranr and guarding it's edge, Elaine asked, "shall we begin." Setting into a crouch, Elaine waited for Clafera to do likewise.
Eridor crouched down in the sand, his eyes half lidded as he let the warmth from the sand and sun seep into his body. A deep hum rumbled in his chest.

Clafera took both of her swords off her back and guarded their edges, "Let's." She smiled and crouched into her stance.
Her bright blue eyes carefully watched Elaine for any signs of her starting to strike. She had tied her long black hair into a bun to keep out of the way and the red ribbions fluttered in the tiny breeze. Apalala moved out of the way to lay down next to Eridor and bask in the sun.

Eridor swung his head towards Apalala and growled in greeting. A friendly growl.
Elaine circled Clafera, tense and ready to move. Elaine currently held Mor'ranr in her right hand, having learned to use the sword in that hand as well as her left. Elaine skipped to Clafera's right and swung her sword at Clafera's hip, light on her feet.

Clafera brought both her swords down to meet Elaine's sword. She quickly released Mor'ranr and moved around to Elaine's back to try and slap her with the flat of the blade.

Elaine threw herself flat, spraying sand, to avoid Clafera's attack. Her sword whistled over head. Rolling to her back, Elaine sprang up, played her sword in a circle, and slashed at Clafera's side. Eridor dozed contently as the two spared.

Clafera smiled, "You've learned."
She slide her blades over top of Elaine's catching her hilt and fighting to rip Elaine's sword out of her hands. Clafera thought better of it and used Mal-loki to push Elaine's down and Nar-loki layed at her neck.
"But you need to stay out of these situations. Or get out of them." Clafera said, hinting to the blade at her neck.

Elaine allowed herself a wry smile. "Oh, but I have." Pointed so lightly at Clafera's heart so as not to be felt, Elaine had unsheathed a small dagger, it's blade guarded as Mor'ranr's was. "If you were a real foe, most likely I would be dead right now. But there is always a split second where I can raise this dagger and thrust it into my foe's heart." Elaine shrugged, "what do you say? Call it a draw?"
Eridor laughed, humored by Elaine's uncommon slyness. Very wise, he murmured.
OOC: I don't see why not. I don't care, but I'm not sure about Clafera.

((O.o You personally? I think you can be watching and send Urgals or something.)) Clafera smiled and backed away, "Yes against an urgal or a regular human. But against an elf we are the fastest creatures. Not to brag or be mean about it." She bowed slightly and unguarded her blades. Clafera sheathed her swords on her back and slung an arm around Elaine's shoulders, "Let's eat, I'm starving." She laughed walking to Apalala's saddle.

Also removing the spell from her sword, Elaine slid it home, into it's sheath, and let Clafera walk her to Apalala's saddle. "Yes, this is true. Against an elf, I would indeed be far too slow. And I am famished." Truding through the warm sand towards Eridor, who was watching her lazily through slitted eyes, she rumaged around in her pack and brought out a water flask, some crispy bread, and an apple. She had meat, but, with Clafera being half elven, she declined the urge to eat it, not wanting to disturb her friend. Plopping into the sand, Elaine first devourd the bread, then bit the apple down to it's core. She swallowed it all down with a couple draughts of water.

Clafera raised her eyebrow noticing Elaine didn't eat her dried meat and took out her own, "You know even though I'm half-Elf I still eat meat occationally. Eat yours, Humans need it." She said before eating her food, consisting of cheese, water, bread and dried meat. Clafera sat on top of the soft sand and took her boots off, figuring no enemy would attack, and dug her feet into the warm sand.

Elaine gave Clafera a thankful smile. "Good, that makes my meal alot better." Retrieving the meat, she chewed on it slowly, savoring the taste. Looking around, all Elaine could see for miles around was sand, lots and lots of sand. But above was an open sky, and she and Eridor would one day fly alll the skies. Happy with these thoughts, Elaine become drowsy. but what was that? Perhaps some rock? Squinting, Elaine asked Clafera, pointing, "look, in the west. Do you see that dark shape? A rock formation, perhaps?" Eridor opened his eyes fully, and looked to where his rider pointed. Even with his dragon eyes, he could not quite yet discern what Elaine was seeing.
