Clafera slipped her boots back on and looked where Elaine was pointing, "I can't see anything. Is the heat getting to you?" She asked with a frown. Apalala opened her golden eyes to gaze in the same spot, 'I cannot see anything either...Perhaps we should fly to see if anything is there?' 'Perhaps.'
"Should we fly there and see?" Clafera asked looking back to her friend and her dragon.

Elaine looked harder at the image. Perhaps Clafera is right, it may just be a mirage. Eridor looked at her and blinked.
A mirrage that we are both seeing? Elaine shrugged, why not? We share everything else.
Eridor snorted, good point. Shaking her head, Elaine said, "no, no, I think your right, it is just a mirage."

Clafera plopped back down on the sand and laid back, "Probably. Do you want to go flying or something?" She asked sitting up to lean on her arms.
"Or do you want to talk first." She grinned.

After specifically ordering a large army of urgals to spread out throughout his kingdom, a small platoon had just entered the Hadarac desert. And could instantly tell with the thick sand, sandstorms and the intense heat bearing down on their thick hides.
[ would i be playing as the urgals? or would they Be NPC?]

Elaine jumped up. "Let's fly!" She said enthuisiastically. Walking over to Eridor, she leapt upon his back and strapped her legs in. He twisted his neck around to look at her. Whats wrong? Up with and into the air. Elaine said, patting his thick neck. Yawning, Eridor shook his head, ridding himself of his drowsyness. Standing up and spreading his wings, he looked at Clafera and Apalala, waiting for them to get situated. As Elaine waited, she peered at the distant horizon.
I could have sworn that I saw something, she thought forlornly.
As I could have also. Perhaps, once we're in the sky, we will see this thing again?
Perhaps, Elaine answered simply.

Clafera smiled at Elaine's egarness and pulled herself up into Apalala's saddle gracefully, "Let's see if your mirage is still there." She laughed. Apalala shook herself once before beating her powerful Ruby and Gold wings and launching in the air.
Apalala rolled herself like a barrel and gave a deep rumble from withen her chest, 'Ahh the wonderful skys' 'It feels like we are freedom flyers...'

Kicking off the dune and sending up a billowing mass of sand, Eridor soared into the sky behind Apalala, large wings pumping powerfully. Eridor roared happily, and came up beside the red and gold dragon. Elaine relaxed in Eridor's saddle, her arms hanging freely in his gentle flight. As her eyes roved the land, she again came upon the strange mass of darkness. I see it again! she told Eridor, grasping one of his spikes. Eridor too saw it.
As do I? Do we tell Clafera? Elaine shook her head, no, I do not want to bring it up again until I am certain it's not a mirage.
As you wish, was Eridor's reply.
