Personality: Like a hunter stalking its prey Stag keeps all emotion kept hidden at all times only letting his guard down when the time is right. Stag is a good guy but is an annoyance at times because of his lack of emotion.
History: Stag was born in Surda and joined the Varden when he turned 10 when his family took him to the Varden for protection after Stags cousin inside the Varden was caught by the empire. Stags family died after Stags father was killed by urgals then Stags mother was killed from illness leaving Stag to grow up within the Varden. Stag was 13 when he was a messenger for dwarves and humans through "Farthen Dur" years before Eragon became a rider. For years Stag was a loyal messenger before given the duty of being a servant for the council of elders at age 20.
Stag at age 30 was sent out as a messenger to meet with several spys within the empire, Stag gave them the message but it was taken soon after by the empire causing the death of the spys.
Stag in anger inlisted in the Vardens army when he was 37 to fight off the urgals when they attacked "Farthen Dur" lead by the shade Durza when Eragon arrived at "Farthen Dur" and killed Durza during the war. Stag continued to serve the Varden up till the point that he turned 38 and fought in the war that Thorn and Murtagh fought Eragon and was when Murtaghs betrayl was first discovered. Currently Stag is working for the Varden as a tracker since a arrow wound to the leg left Stag unable to serve as a warrior so Stags only choice left was to become a hunter and soon he gained the skill of tracking which became a help for searching for dragon eggs. Stag has been unsuccesful in finding the eggs but has managed to locate several empire outposts which the Varden destroyed soon after.

RP Sample: Stag drew his bow as he used his free hand to untie the rope he had in his pocket. Stag put his bow down making no sound as he sat in the branch overhanging the grazing ground in which several deer grazed in silence. Stag tied the rope around his torso then to the branch before snacthing up his bow in one hand and lowering himself down. Soon the rope tightend and Stag was suspended in mid air holding his bow taking aim at the biggest deer in his range. Stag fitted an arrow in his bow and pulled back before releasing shooting the arrow through the air hitting the deer in the throat killing it in seconds,
"Next time I should at least give my target the mercy of being hit from further away"
Stag slung his bow over his shoulder before pulling his short sword and cutting the rope around his torso dropping him 7 feet towards the ground. Stag put away his Short sword and began to walk out into the field to collect his prize, a moment later the deer fled seeing Stag near them.
